Crime & Vice City Police drops you into a living city where things go wrong whether you're there or not. Criminals run red lights. Pedestrians get mugged. Sometimes a full-blown pursuit breaks out two blocks over and you've got about ten seconds to intercept. Ignore a call and the city gets a little messier. Answer it, and you might end up in a shootout behind a strip mall.

You can upgrade your cruiser — better handling, more speed, tougher bumpers — but the core loop stays the same: drive to the trouble, deal with it, get back on patrol. The open map means you can take shortcuts through alleys, cut across parks, or set up roadblocks on bridges. No two shifts play out the same.
