What is Escape Road?

The sirens start the moment you hit the gas. Doesn't matter what you did — what matters is the line of police cars forming in your rearview and the civilian traffic between you and freedom.

Escape Road gameplay — weaving through traffic with police in pursuit

Escape Road is top-down cat-and-mouse on city streets. You're weaving through traffic, dodging roadblocks, grabbing power-ups off the asphalt. The longer you survive, the more cops join the chase. They coordinate. One hangs back while another tries to cut you off. You learn to watch the minimap as much as the road.

Nitro boosts give you a burst of speed — save them for straightaways because you can't steer worth a damn while boosting. Alleys are your best friend. Duck into one and the cops lose line of sight for a few seconds. Long enough to change direction. Not long enough to relax.

Coins from each run buy new cars. Faster engines. Better handling. None of them make the cops give up. But they make the chase last longer, and in this game, lasting longer is the whole point.

How to Play Escape Road

Arrow keys or WASD to drive. Space for nitro boost. Works with touch on mobile.

Watch the minimap. Red dots are cops. If they're forming a semicircle, you're about to get boxed in
